Commissioning of the 1st Unit of Terem HPP project in Kenya

The first unit of » Terem Hydro Power Plant« in Kenya was successfully connected to the power grid of this country.

According to Public Relations of Farab Co., Engineer »Mehran Lotfi«, Managing Director of the company, announced this news and said that: Terem Hydro Power Plant is accounted as the 3rd project of exporting technical and engineering services to Kenya.

He added that “Terem Hydro Power Plant has two 2.5MW units which are located at the west of this country. REGEN Co. is the employer and Farab Co. is the EPC contractor of this project”.

He referred to African Continent as one of the potential and important markets for Farab Co. and said that: “since 2007, when Farab specialists initiated working in African Continent, the company has been successful in running »Tana« 25MW Hydro Power Plant, »Kindaruma« construction and Hydro-mechanical Power Plant, and »Terem« Hydro Power Plant projects in Kenya.
