Mowlavi station in Tehran Metro Line 7 was inaugurated

Mowlavi Station as the 11th station of  Tehran Metro line 7, was inaugurated in the presence of Tehran Mayor and head of The Islamic City Council of Tehran on 23 December (2019).

According to Public Relation of Farab Co. , Tehran Metro line 7 includes 22 stations with 27km length . Farab Co. is EPC contractor of equipment, executing and supplying of this project.

Takhti stadium is the starting point of line 7 at southeast of Tehran and by passing through crowded regions such as  Shahid Mahalati highway, Mowlavi St., Helal Ahmar St., Qazvin St., Shahid Navab Safavi highway, Azadi St., Towhid sq., Milad tower, Milad hospital and San’at square, it ends at northwest of Tehran at Ketab square- Sa’dat Abad street.

During exploiting ceremony of Mwolavi station, Tehran mayor said that: “As we promised in the past, Mowlavi station was inaugurated and it would be a great factor in reducing traffic congestion in southern area of Grand Bazaar particularly drapery markets”.

Dr. “Pirouz Hanachi”, continued that: “the trains start their work within 10 minutes headway time, we are trying to reduce this time by addingw more wagons”.

Hanachi added: “Molavi station has green route and is mobilized with emergency exit.”

Also Managing director of Tehran and suburb Railway Co. said that:” this station is located in an area of 21.000 sqm, at 26 meter depth and is recognized as one of the deepest stations along the subway.”
