| Commissioning of Unit 2 of Shirkouh Yazd Combined Cycle Power Plant |

| On 8 Nov 2012, the second unit of Shirkouh Yazd Combined Cycle Power Plant with the capacity of 160 MW was commissioned and made ready to synchronize with and connection to the national grid. Shirkouh Yazd Combined Cycle Power Plant with the approximate capacity of 500 MW is the first power plant of Farab on BOO scheme. 2 gas units of this power plant have already been commissioned and by 1392 the steam unit will have also been commissioned and the combined cycle block and the whole project will have been completed. |

| The Commencement of Construction of Megri Dam and Hydro Power Plant |

| The Construction of Megri Dam and Hydro Power Plant was commenced on Thu 8 Nov 2012 in presence of the Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the President and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia. This power plant will be constructed in Megri area inside Armenia on the Aras border river. The annual energy generated from Megri power plant will be around 800 million kilowatt hour. |

| Participation of Farab Co in Energy Week Fair 2012 |

Farab Co took part in Energy Week Fair 2012 held from 16 to 18 Oct 2012 in Malaysia.
More than 3000 people visited this fair that was held in Kuching city in Sarawak state in the fields of thermal power plants, hydro power plants, oil, gas and petrochemical industries, and new energies. Various companies and representatives of Alstom, Impsa, Sarawac Energy ,TNB, Sinohydro, Petronas, China Three Gorges Community, JX Nippon Oil, Toshiba Transmission, SGB Transformer, and other companies took active part in the fair and visited Farab/Farasan International (the exclusive representative of Farab in Malaysia) booth and held negotiations with regard to developing cooperation with Farab.

| The 14th Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems Fair was held from 9 to 11 Oct 2012 in Holland. Farab Co took part in this fair as the first company from Iran. More than 300 reputable companies offered their latest products and achievements in the fields of systems, meters, and intelligent networks in the fair. Parallel to the fair, several workshops and seminars on the innovations in this industry were held. More than 6700 specialists from universities and companies of different countries visited the fair which marked 54% increase compared to the number of visitors last year. |

| End of Guarantee Period, the Fourth Power Unit of Karun 4 |

The warranty period for all four units ended in due course and without any increasing period of even one day and in accordance with the schedule ended.

| Honorable Ambassador of Sri Lanka and Iran president visit the Uma Oya Multipurpose Project |

On 7 August 2012, the president of Sri Lanka, along with a number of cabinet ministers and members of Parliament attended the project site and were welcomed and respected by the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and project management and presenting a report of overall status of the project, they visited the progress of the project accompanied by the Board.

| FARAB winning bid for 500 MW combined cycle power plant of National Iranian Copper Industries |

On 5 August 2012, the technical and financial proposals of participants for the tender of constructing a 500 MW combined cycle power plant of National Iranian Copper Industries got opened. Farab’s proposals rated the highest technical proposal and the lowest financial proposal among the six consortiums of bidders.
EPC project site is in Kerman, Sirjan zone and its approximate value is equal to 6,135,000,000,000 rials.

| Farab Company Won in Tender’ Steam Section of South Pars Compound Cycle Power Plan |

The tender’ technical and financial package of steam section of South Pars Compound Cycle inaugurated and the Farab company was announced as winner of this tender in 22.04.2012.
Installation of this project locates in Bushehr province, South Pars. The steam section of this compound cycle power plan will be enforced through Farab company in approximate capacity of 500 Mega Watt as EPC including 3 turbine generator of 160 Meg Watt steam unit, 6 recovery boilers , 3 cooler units of type ACC along with other equipment accessories to the value of 424,400,000 Euros.
