The first unit of gas of 310-MW Dalahoo Combined Cycle Power Plant in Kermanshah was successfully connected to the national power grid on Sunday, June 16 (2019) and started power generation.
\nAccording to Public Relations of Farab Co., synchronization operation of the first unit of gas of Dalahoo Combined Cycle Power Plant was completed after taking required tests, and this unit is ready for official launch.
\nDalahooCombined Cycle Power Plant has a nominal capacity of 910 MW and consists of two 310-MW class F gas units, two boiler units, a 290-MW steam unit, and an ACC cooling system. This power plant is under construction with Farab investment by the method of B.O.O project and is aimed at providing a part of the growing demand of the country for electricity.
\nThe construction of this power plant was carried out using new and highly efficient units (56%) and among its unique features are that 49% of the power plant equipment is domestic and its main ACC is designed and implemented with a concrete base which was introduced as praised by the Concrete Research Center as a \u201ctop national concrete project\u201d in January 2019.
\nAdded to significant help in increasing electricity generation in the country and supplying the required electricity at the peak consumption time in 2019, the operation of Dalaho Combined Cycle Power Plant will contribute to economic prosperity and progress in the western part of the country as well as business opportunities for the local educated youth.
\nAfter the Shirkooh Combined Cycle Power Plant in Yazd, this is the second combined cycle power plant invested by Farab Co.<\/p>\n
