\u00bbFarab\u2019s Smart Meter Management Software\u00ab succeeded to receive technical certificate from Plan and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/p>\n
According to Public Relations of Farab Co., \u00bbSaeed Ghanbari\u00ab, Smart Meters Projects\u2019 Manager of the company, announced this news and said: in order to fulfill Farab obligations in Faham Contracts with Tavanir Co., this fully native software, which is unique in its kind, is developed with the efforts of Farab\u2019s Software and Engineering teams.<\/p>\n
Ghanbari continued that: since more than two years ago, this software has been installed in two regions of the country – Zanjan in northwest and Boushehr in south \u2013 and it is under commercial operation by 13 Power Distribution Companies\/utilities.<\/p>\n
Farab\u2019s Smart Meters Project Manager continued saying that: Farab\u2019s Smart Meters Management Software is able to manage one million metering points and receive data from smart meters throughout the country and store them in its database.<\/p>\n
Then, he stated that: the software can also send commands such as remote on\/off command to smart meters, if necessary. It is the only software that able to cover\/integrate all types of certified smart meters by Tavanir Co.<\/p>\n
Ghanbari added that: also, an important part of this product is the Communication Interfaces based on industrial protocols which fully implemented in Farab Co. on the basis of specified standards.<\/p>\n
