Official connection operation of line 2 to line 1 of Mashhad urban railway began on Monday, May 07, in presence of The President.<\/p>\n

According to Public Relations of Farab Co., on a visit to Khorasan Razavi, Hojatoleslam Valmuslemin Dr. \u00abHassan Rouhani\u00bb attended the official operation ceremony of connection project of line 2 to line 1 of Mashhad urban railway.<\/p>\n

At this ceremony, while expressing satisfaction that people in Mashhad and pilgrims of Imam Reza (AS) can use metro to travel in the city, Rouhani ordered to officially operate the project.<\/p>\n

At the ceremony of connection operation of line 2 to line 1 of Mashhad urban railway, Mashhad Mayor also said: \u201ccurrently, 160000 passengers a day travel by Mashhad urban railway lines. By connecting Line 2 to Line 1, its capacity will multiply\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00abGhasem Taghizade Khamesi\u00bb continued: \u201cwith the support of government and Islamic Council of Mashhad, over five thousand billion credit was spent to connect these lines\u201d.<\/p>\n

The report also adds: Farab Co. is EPC contractor of equipment and fleet of line 2 Project of Mashhad urban railway, and for the first time in the country, Automatic Train Operation (ATO) signaling mode is launched in this country.<\/p>\n
