Certificate of Project Excellence and Silver Winner for the 8th National Project Excellence Award in Iran was awarded to Daryan Hydro Power Plant on Wednesday, June 19th, by the Iranian Project Management Association.
According to Public Relations of Farab Co., in the 8th National Festival of Project Excellence in Iran, which was held in the presence of members of City Council of Tehran, Commander of Khatam Construction Headquarter, and a group of academics, experts, activists and senior managers of the country’s project management, at Tarbiat Modarres University, Certificate of Project Excellence and Silver Winner in the 8th National Award for Iran Project Management was donated to Farab’s Daryan Hydro Power Plant Project and it was received by Mr.Khosrow Hemmatpour, a member of the board of directors of Farab Co.
Daryan Hydro Power Plant has 3 units with 70 MW (=210 MW) capacity and the average annual energy production of this power plant is 500 GW/h.
Implementation of value management in running Daryan Hydro Power Plant led to cost reduction and optimization of its structure and method of running. Owing to strict control over safety rules and principles and HSE, no inhibiting incident occurred during the project.
