Inaugurating Tehran Metro Line 8 by Chairman of Islamic Consultative Assembly

27 kilometers of Tehran Metro line 8, from Shahr-e Aftab to Imam Khomeini Airport settlement, was inaugurated on Monday, August 7 (2017), in the presence of Chairman of Islamic Consultative Assembly, Tehran mayor, Head of Tehran’s City Council, and a group of urban and national executives.

According to Public Relations of Farab Co., in this event, which was held by a group of deputies and managers of Farab Co., »Ali Larijani« and »Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf« travelled through this line from Shahr-e Afatb to Imam-Khomeini Airport.

During this event, »Ali Larijani«, Chairman of Islamic Consultative Assembly, said that: connecting Imam-Khomeini airport to Tehran Metro network was a great, valuable and prompt project which was well done and hereby I thank Tehran Mayor and all executives who worked on this project, Khatam Al-Anbia’s construction site (PBUH), in particular.

»Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf«, Tehran Mayor, in this event also referred to Line 8 as a Suburban Metro and said: Tehran Metro Line 8 project now ends in Imam-Khomeini airport but it still continues since 19 kilometers has remained from Imam-Khomeini airport to Parand City.

According to Mr.Qalibaf, Tehran Metro Line 8 project to Imam-Khomeini airport is going to be tested on the coming March.

The report adds: Farab Co. is the contractor of Tehran Metro line 8 to design, supply and implement the project equipment.
