Exchange of agreements and MOU between Farab Co. and the Iran National Innovation Fund And Tarbiat Modares University for the development of the value chain of the solar power industry

At a ceremony attended by the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, an agreement was signed between Farab Co. and the Iran National Innovation Fund )INIF( and a memorandum of understanding between Farab Co. and Tarbiat Modares University with the aim of developing the value chain of solar power industry in the country.

According to Public Relations Of Farab Co., in the ceremony, which was held on Monday )June 30) at the Hall of Martyrs of Scientific Jihad of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. “Mansour Gholami” ,Minister of Science, Research and Technology, said that the national energy sector has many advantages that justify its investment.

The Minister of Science, Research and Technology added: “Currently, conditions have been created in many parts of the knowledge-based and technology-based complexes, and this issue promises to achieve good results in this field with the entry of capable, large and forward-looking companies, such as Farab Group and Tarbiat Modares University, which is a comprehensive university of postgraduate studies in the country.

Gholami then referred to the successful experiences of Farab Group in exporting technical and engineering services and implementing international projects, saying: “These experiences can lead to new successes for the country and Farab in the field of solar energy.”

He also expressed hope that in the shadow of a large complex such as Farab, small companies will be included in this chain and with the increase of existing capabilities, the country will achieve good results in this area.

Dr. “Ali Vakili”, Managing Director of Farab Group, also said at the ceremony that: “Farab Group is composed of 20 companies inside and outside the country and with 28 years of successful activity, is now the largest exporter of technical and engineering services in Iran”.

Vakili then said that the Farab Group has implemented more than 12,000 MW of Hydro and Thermal Power Plant and is implementing another 5,000 MW of the Power Plant, and also said that Farab Group with its high technical and engineering capabilities and successful track record in the fields of water and energy, oil and gas and petrochemicals, rail and construction industries at home and abroad, can integrate the value chain of the solar power industry in the country.
